COCO EFENDI ® is the leading manufacturer of premium coconut shell charcoal for shisha in Indonesia.

Since the beginning, we specialize in exporting our products and brands to various markets across the globe. We were established in December 2015 and since then, continously expanded over the years to become an innovative and international operating company as well as a reliable partner in the waste business industry.

Our headquarter and production facility is built on 6,000 square meter land to maintain all industrial standards in order to produce a premium quality for coconut shell charcoal. This area is located in Surabaya which is strategically close to the port of Tanjung Perak.

Dedicated and skilled employees are the highest resources and enable COCO EFENDI® to perform on the highest level to develop a premium grade quality of charcoal. On top of that, our clients can rest assure to be provided with their orders within the expected delivery time.and as a result of dedication, team spirit and facilities, the current production capacity reaches 150 tons per month which is around 1800 tons of charcoal production every year.

Our Brands

We burn the coconut shells by ourselves in our production facility. This allows us to maintain a constant quality of raw materials and their regular supply.
The soil on Sulawesi Island is rich in potassium and other minerals. This makes it possible to obtain coconut charcoal for shisha with an ash content of 1.4% (confirmed by an independent laboratory).
Also, coconut shells from Sulawesi Island have a high combustion temperature of over 700 degrees.

Gas ovens are more expensive to operate but give a stable temperature. It is possible to change the drying temperature quickly.
Most factories in Indonesia use wood stoves. This makes the product cheaper, but the quality of briquettes is unstable due to temperature fluctuations and the instability of wood combustion
Gas furnace allows you to maintain the right temperature and drying time of briquettes following the standards.

Wrapped in a thermal blanket or film to protect against moisture and temperature fluctuations. The hookah charcoal will arrive to you safe and sound.
